Safoora: Worth tutor
Certified Tutor
I hold a PhD in Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and have been teaching in higher education since 2011. Originally from Iran, my passion for teaching began early in life. I started tutoring mathematics to my friends while I was still in middle school.
With over a decade of experience in academia, I am well-equipped to tutor students in principles of microeconomics and statistics at both the high school and college levels. My approach to tutoring is rooted in fostering a deep understanding of concepts, ensuring students not only succeed in their courses but also develop a lasting appreciation for the subject matter.
In addition to teaching, I have a strong interest in data analysis. Currently, I am expanding my skill set by learning Python programming and diving into data science. This ongoing education enhances my ability to bring real-world applications into the tutoring sessions, making the learning experience both relevant and engaging.
On a personal note, I am a mother to a wonderful 2-year-old daughter who keeps my days delightfully busy. Being able to tutor remotely allows me the flexibility to balance my professional aspirations with spending precious time watching her grow and learn.
I am excited about the opportunity to help students achieve their academic goals while nurturing their curiosity and love for learning.

In my free time, I love indulging in creative activities like baking, sewing, and quilting. These hobbies allow me to unwind and express my creativity, especially when I have the time to immerse myself in them. Cooking is another passion of mine—I enjoy experimenting with different recipes and flavors to create delicious meals for my family. These activities bring balance to my life, complementing my academic and professional pursuits with a touch of artistry and relaxation.
