Certified Tutor

As a current biology major pursuing a minor in chemistry at Ontario Tech University, I bring a strong foundation in the sciences to my tutoring practice. My passion for helping students stems from a deep-seated belief in the transformative power of education. I am dedicated to fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment where students can thrive and achieve their academic goals.

My experience includes working as a teaching assistant at a local elementary school, where I developed and implemented interactive lesson plans and supported students in grasping complex concepts. Additionally, I have mentored students through online tutoring, which has allowed me to refine my skills in adapting my teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs.

In addition to my academic background, I hold a TEFL certification, which has further enhanced my ability to communicate effectively and cater to various learning styles. I tutor a range of subjects. My favorite subjects to tutor are those that allow me to blend scientific inquiry with hands-on learning, making complex topics accessible and engaging. My goal is to equip students with the skills and strategies they need to excel both academically and personally.

Outside of academics, I have a passion for dancing, creating art, and reading. These interests not only enrich my life but also inspire creativity and a well-rounded approach to teaching. I am continually seeking to diversify my teaching skills and expand my knowledge of effective strategies to better support my students' success.
