Certified Tutor

Learning is one of the most exciting things and I try to show students how much fun learning can be. I love working with students of all abilities and have helped several of my classmates through high school and college when they were struggling. Seeing the excitement on their faces when they "get it" is so rewarding for both teacher and student.
I received my bachelor's degree in creative writing from Full Sail University. There I wrote flash fiction, short stories, TV scripts, game scripts, and transmedia campaigns.
The subjects I tutor are English and composition. I love to write, and I love to pass that love on to students. As I said earlier, learning should be exciting and that is what I try to do when I tutor. I am laid back and will use several methods to ensure the student understands our lessons.
Outside of tutoring, I love to read. Even as a child, if I earned a reward for something, I would choose to get a book. I also love to draw both by hand and computer aided. And I love spending time with my beagle, Harley. When I'm not working with students or on personal projects, I also enjoy playing video games.
