Certified Tutor

I am licensed professional environmental engineer in the engineering consulting industry. I have Bachelor and Master of Engineering degrees in Environmental Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology. I have extensive experience tutoring students and providing support to colleagues studying for the FE and PE exams. I know firsthand how difficult it is to find resources to help prepare for environmental engineering licensure exams, so I am passionate about paying it forward and helping my fellow EnvEs achieve licensure. As my focus is mainly on students who are about to enter the workforce and engineers currently in the workforce, I employ a flexible, student-led approach to tutoring. Since these exams test on knowledge gained during the student's work experience and previous course work, I will not be tutoring extensively on all concepts. Our sessions will focus on addressing tricky test problems and familiarizing yourself with the reference handbook and study resources. I expect students to attempt problems outside of our sessions and bring any problems to our sessions to work through together. My goal is for my students to become confident in the problem solving process and proficient in using the reference handbooks.
