I hold a Doctor's degree in Statistics and Master's degree in Quantitative Economics from Zhejiang Gongshang University in China along with a Bachelor's degree in Applied Mathematics from Ningbo University in China. And I had been a visiting scholar in UBC and University of Regina in Canada. My teaching philosophy is contacting with students often to help them resolve issues of courses that they individually are facing in time. In order to help students achieve learning goals, I focus on explaining concepts by simple examples, consolidating knowledge points in class through in-class exercises, reviewing previous knowledge by before-class exams. Besides that I would help students build knowledge points frameworks including connect, similarity, difference between contents. As a University lecturer, I focused on Statistics, Business Statistics, Theory of Interest, Social Survey Methods, SPSS Application, Econometrics; and my main duty was hosting related courses design, organizing discussions on topics, explaining concepts, grading and assessing term papers and exams that helping and instructing students learn new knowledge thoroughly. As an academic tutor in Canada, I helped students studying in University from UBC, University of Toronto, etc. understanding their courses and organizing and reviewing knowledge points. During my tenure at a bank, I was simultaneously responsible for customers' relationship management, including designing suitable modles using statistical skills to manage customers efficiently and obtaining appropriate data to analyze customers' preference, risk points, default probabilities; and I was also a lecturer who teaching marketing courses to new employees in the bank.
