Certified Tutor

I am currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Creative Writing at Susquehanna University with a secondary focus in Psychology. Before college, I attended the Governor's School for the Arts and Humanities where I acquired much of my experience helping students write and edit their essays, short stories, and poetry. I've spent a little over 2 years overall workshopping and reviewing student's writing. I am qualified to tutor in a variety of writing-based subjects, including essay editing, though I am most passionate about the subjects of fiction and poetry. In terms of approaches to tutoring, I prefer individualized and one-on-one sessions with students so that in-depth and personalized learning can take place. Each person and how they learn is different, and so I prefer to cater to the learning needs of students individually.
