I was a professional educator for 20 years. I received my Master's degree at Hofstra University in 2001. I have tutored in Math and English Language Arts throughout my career. My greatest memories in tutoring and being an educator are the excitement when students achieve their goals. My teaching philosophy is that any student can reach a higher level, no matter what level they are at presently. I possess excellent
interpersonal skills in interacting with new students in all grades. I have worked with Kindergarten through 6th grades. I am an enthusiastic and passionate educator effective at providing
quality instruction. My tutoring style focuses on fostering a positive, stimulating, encouraging, and supportive
learning environment for all students.

Outside of academia I have several interests and hobbies. I enjoy bike riding in my community. I am an avid traveler, whose dream is to travel abroad. I love gardening and landscaping my yard. I am an avid reader who enjoys participating in my book club. I enjoy participating in my community service events and college fundraisers with my college alumnae in my sorority.
