I am an experienced educator with over 20 years in the classroom. I graduated from the University of South Carolina-Aiken in 2000 with a degree in Early Childhood Education. I have taught kindergarten, 1st, and 3rd grades and have experience tutoring students in kindergarten-7th grade. I have worked with at-risk students providing intensive intervention in phonics and early reading skills. I believe that it is so important to build a strong foundation for early literacy in order to be a successful learner. I find joy in helping students build that foundation and succeed.
