As an elementary language arts tutor, I am deeply committed to fostering academic growth and self-confidence in my students, particularly in reading. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from the University of Missouri-Columbia. The last two years I have tutored elementary students to improve student comprehension, fluency and reading strategies. My approach centers on creating engaging, tailored lesson plans that resonate with each child. Along with engaging lessons, I utilizing brain-based principles. I believe that reading is the cornerstone of success in school, and I strive to instill a love for literature in my students.
