I am an enthusiastic and hardworking aspiring math educator who is currently pursuing a one-year Master's in Math Education (Grades 7-12) at New York University. Currently, I am student teaching in a 7th grade math classroom at a public school in Lower Manhattan and am completing relevant coursework. As an undergraduate, I attended Lafayette College where I majored in neuroscience and minored in mathematics. I have three years of tutoring experience (America Reads/Counts Program) and one year of professional teaching experience (English teaching in Japan with the Japan Exchange and Teaching (JET) Program). I believe that all students can master math concepts with the proper support and practice. I look forward to working with you!
