I am a retired Associate Professor of Quantitative Methods (University of Louisiana, Lafayette, 2016) and have been working with students for more than 25 years. I received my Ph.D. in Quantitative Research, Evaluation and Measurement from The Ohio State University. I have taught quantitative methods courses in introductory through advanced statistics, quantitative research design, tests and measurement, program evaluation and needs assessment. I am author of more than two dozen peer-reviewed publications and co-author of Needs Assessment: Analysis and Prioritization (Sage Publications, 2010). I have presented the findings of my research at 31 national/international and 12 state/regional conferences. I have served on the evaluation team of four National Science Foundation (NSF) sponsored research projects. I am a veteran of the United Stated Army (8th Infantry Div.) and work with many active duty and retired service men and women who are pursuing their college degrees. Since retiring, I have continued my passion for teaching statistics and quantitative methods and working with students at a both traditional and online, universities. I am well-versed in and understand the challenges that today's students experience in navigating the educational process in a synchronous and asynchronous environment. I seek to provide all of my students with the knowledge, skills and expertise to advance toward their educational goals.
