Certified Tutor

I graduated from Stephens College. I received my degree in Visual arts with an emphasis in graphic design and Illustration. I also have a minor in art history. I worked as a substitute for 6 years. I worked in Pre-K thru 12th grade including special ED. I have had special training in working with children with special needs. I then moved to Preschool and have been a 2 year old lead teacher and Pre-K lead teacher for 8 years total of experience. I have had training in helping Pre-k through grade school children learn to read. I myself have dyslexia and went through 4 years of tutoring in first through fourth grade. In fifth grade I went from reading at a kindergarten level to College reading level.
I currently work for a preschool that works with children who have special needs. We help them to prepare for kindergarten. I have special training in social emotional curriculum. We work on Math, Reading, Language, Science and writing. I love using fun activities and books that interest children to help them get excited to learn!
