What really drives my love for tutoring is seeing that lightbulb moment when a student gets it. It's about unlocking potential and transforming doubt into confidence. As someone who's currently teaching pre-algebra and comes with a degree from Northern Arizona University, I've had the awesome opportunity to help younger students navigate through math, turning "I can't do this" into "I've got it!" Pre-algebra is my favorite; it's the gateway to understanding the logical beauty of mathematics. My approach to tutoring is centered on patience and adaptability, emphasizing progress over perfection. When I tutor, it's all about being patient, flexible, and celebrating those small wins. Because getting better bit by bit...that's the real goal! Outside of school, my interests include baking, exploring new culinary delights, and enjoying much needed moments of relaxation. My goal is to inspire students on their mathematical journey, fostering a sense of discovery and appreciation for the subject.
