Helping students has been a lifelong passion for me, and being able to apply the knowledge that I retain at school and pass it on to students not only helps me keep increasing my knowledge but also allows me to teach students the various tips and tricks that led me to where I am. I am currently a sophomore at Stony Brook University. I am currently working towards a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Applied Math. I have also worked with students throughout my academic career. At the start of high school, I interned at Khans Tutorial where I worked with K-5 students and prepared them for their state exams. After this experience, I worked with LearnToBe where I volunteered to tutor students with disabilities such as ADHD and Dyslexia. After the pandemic had ended I began working with GT School where I developed comprehensive study guides and information about subjects such as AP World History and the SAT. I enjoy tutoring multiple levels of math as well as history. writing, and physics. I enjoyed taking these topics when in school and find it fun and interesting to keep engaging with others on these topics. I think my tutoring style tends to aim toward student engagement where it has no strict rigid plan, but rather a lesson plan that is based on student input.
