Certified Tutor

I graduated from the Institute of Higher Studies of Monterrey (Instituto de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey) in Mexico. I received my Bachelor's in Communication and Digital Media, specializing in film studies and creative writing. I am passionate about helping student develop beyond their expectations. During my time at the university, I successfully worked with other college students, allowing them to understand and apply their knowledge to their respective works. I have also worked with adults and high school students.
Due to its standardized method, I firmly believe that the current school and college system does not help every student reach their highest potential. Because of that, I always make sure to personalize each session according to the student's resources and needs, using a variety of examples from all over the world. I also include several practical exercises and open discussions to further develop their perspectives. I tutor a broad range of subjects; my favorite ones are those related to creative writing, research, and cooking.
It is always a pleasure to see each student's creativity blossom with each session, whether by creating a fantastic story or connecting the dots to solve a problem in their research. In my spare time, I enjoy reading and watching films from all around the world, baking, gardening, learning new languages, and playing different mobile video games. Regarding sports, I practice yoga, tai chi, taekwondo, walking, and qi dong. All my hobbies and sports have helped me broaden my global perspective, develop my creativity, and clear my mind.
