Certified Tutor

I am currently an incoming second year student at Western University in Ontario, Canada. I am planning to pursue a degree in Honors Business Administration at Ivey Business School, graduating in 2027. I have been a tutor for over 3 years at 4 different organizations! While I have tutored a wide variety of subjects, I enjoy teaching math the most. As a high school student, I spent my time tutoring for Teenage Tutors, and I felt that tutoring students close to my own age helped me really simulate a tutoring environment as one being more of a friend helping a friend rather than being one that is very serious. I believe that an effective tutoring session is learner-centered. I aim to find gaps or barriers in knowledge and help fix them by breaking down more complex topics into smaller simpler ones. In my free time, I like to hang out with friends, watch movies, and exercise at the gym.
