For me, helping children learn to read and comprehend is one of the best joys of teaching. I am currently a 5th grade English Language Arts teacher, and I have readers of all types. Watching a child go from struggling to read, to reading proficiently is very gratifying. Sharing my love for writing with children is also very rewarding for me.
