Certified Tutor

I am a graduate of Southern Arkansas University. I received my Bachelor of Business Administration and continued my education at DeVry University obtaining my Masters in Accounting. After spending some time in the workforce I returned to SAU and completed my Masters in education. Since graduation, I have taught 5th grade Science and Social Studies. While I am qualified to teach and tutor many subjects my passion is Science and Social Studies especially the early start of the United States. In my classroom experience I have found that my technique of tying either subject back to the world we live in today helps students grasp a better understanding making learning not only possible but enjoyable to the student. Many of my student's parents have come to me and told me that because of my interaction in the classroom their student has gone from not interested at all to craving more. I am a firm proponent of education, believing it to be absolutely necessary for an improved quality of life, and I try to impart this appreciation and understanding to all of my students.
