Caroline: Alameda tutor
Certified Tutor
Over the last decade, I've tutored and taught English, communication, and social science at several colleges, universities, and tutoring agencies, as well as with individual clients around the world. My experience includes both in-person and online instruction, and I'm passionate about using education technology to make learning accessible and interactive for students from all backgrounds. While at the University of Florida, I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Religion with a minor in Communication, as well as a Master of Arts in Religion with a research focus on cross-cultural dialogue and diversity awareness. Working with K-12, college, and adult learners, I acquired sensitivity to the needs of neurodiverse and ESL students and have refined my teaching style to emphasize real-life examples that make lessons relevant and engaging. It's my goal to create a welcoming space that adapts to my students' needs, objectives, and interests and inspires confidence and enthusiasm for learning.

Along with teaching, I enjoy coding and graphic design as well as crafting and playing with my pets. If I'm not handling Python scripts or actual pythons, I might be on a nature walk or falling through a digital rabbit hole about Tunisian crochet or Hungarian animation.
