I am an educator of 16 years with a bachelors in elementary education and masters in educational leadership. I have taught grades 3-6 both math and reading and my certificate ranges from pre-k through 8th grade in all content areas. As someone who builds furniture and just about anything I can imagine, I am passionate about math and helping students understand its connection to the real world. There is nothing more exciting than watching that light bulb turn on when a student makes a connection and gains understanding of the content. The way to effectively do this is to build relationships and make learning fun through engagement and real world experiences. I am looking forward to making learning fun for your child as well.
