As a graduate with a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, I'm super passionate about teaching and helping students reach their full potential. From a young age, I realized how much of an impact a great mentor can have. I have this unique way of viewing and breaking down concepts that makes even the most complex stuff understandable to pretty much anyone.

A big thing for me is using real-life examples to illustrate ideas. I find that relating concepts to practical applications helps you really grasp them on a deeper level. There's this concept called "Start With Why" by Simon Sinek that really clicked with me. Whenever I'm learning something new, I always ask myself "why" first - why is this important? What's the main purpose or real-world use case? Once I have that solid "why" understanding, then I move on to the "what" and "how." This approach has been a total game-changer for my own learning, and it's something I lean on hard when tutoring others too.

I make sure my students really nail the basics before we progress. My tutoring sessions are super interactive - I use real-world scenarios and visual aids to cater to different learning styles. And above all, I strive to create a supportive, fun environment that builds confidence and gets students genuinely excited about learning. At the end of the day, my goal is to help students build crucial skills like critical thinking, problem-solving, and developing a growth mindset that'll benefit them far beyond our tutoring sessions. There's no greater feeling than witnessing those light bulb moments when something finally clicks into place for a student.

Outside of all the academic stuff, I'm a total movie buff and love hiking and checking out new cuisines. I'm low-key obsessed with filmmaking too and keen to learn more about the movie production process
