With 38+ years of nursing experience in a variety of clinics and hospital settings, I am qualified provide supplemental education and tutoring to students in a variety of ways. I have specialized in diabetes, obesity, developmental disabilities, and mental health. I have also presented to staff, parents, and patients on a variety of subjects over the course of my career. During my years as a professional nurse and Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (APRN), education of staff, students, families and precepting have been imbedded in my clinical practice. I have provided exceptional health care to infants, children, and adolescents. I attended the University of Cincinnati, Xavier University, and Wright State University attaining a Masters in Nursing with specialty in Pediatrics. As a retired APRN, I am passionate about educating the future generations in health and general curriculum for their success.
