As a passionate educator with a PhD in English as a Second Language from National University, I bring over 16 years of tutoring and classroom experience, primarily focusing on elementary school reading and math. My teaching philosophy centers on creating engaging, student-centered learning environments where I assess individual needs and encourage self-assessment among my students. This approach not only helps them grasp complex concepts but also fosters their confidence. I am fluent in Haitian Creole, which allows me to connect with diverse learners and support their unique backgrounds.
