I am a recent graduate of Soka University of America. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Arts with a focus on Economics. Since graduation, I have worked as an Investment Banking Analyst at Nomura Securities in New York. I am also part of a student-run hedge fund called BLK Capital management. The culmination of my undergraduate and post graduate experiences have given me significant insights and competency in microeconomics, macroeconomics, and financial economics as well as different areas of mathematics such as algebra, calculus, and statistics. I enjoy teaching and breaking down complex topics for students into easily digestible concepts. Being able to do that challenges me and the student constantly to ensure we have a comfortable grasp of the basics of the subject matter. I have previous experience tutoring students for standardized tests in a classroom and in their private homes and this is something I have found truly exciting to do. I have a profound belief in utilizing the power of knowledge and intellectual curiosity to make a positive impact in places where there is suffering. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, watching documentaries, and eating out.
