I am deeply passionate about helping students because I believe in the transformative power of education to change lives and shape futures. Witnessing the spark of understanding ignite in a student's eyes and seeing their confidence grow as they conquer challenges is incredibly rewarding to me. The chance to have a positive impact on students' lives and enable them to realize their full potential is what motivates me.Throughout my 13 years of teaching, I have had the privilege of working with students from diverse backgrounds and abilities. Whether in a traditional classroom setting or through individual tutoring sessions, I have always strived to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment where every student feels valued and respected. My experience has taught me the importance of building strong relationships with students, understanding their unique strengths and challenges, and tailoring instruction to meet their individual needs.I earned my bachelor's degree in elementary education from the University of Phoenix, where I gained a solid foundation in pedagogy, curriculum development, and instructional strategies. Currently, I am pursuing a Master's degree in Curriculum and Assessments to further deepen my knowledge and skills in designing effective learning experiences and assessing student progress.As a tutor, I specialize in elementary education subjects with a focus on mathematics, language arts, science, and social studies. However, my favorite subject to tutor is mathematics. I am passionate about demystifying math and helping students develop a strong conceptual understanding of mathematical concepts. I find great joy in guiding students through problem-solving challenges and witnessing their confidence grow as they master new skills.My teaching philosophy is rooted in the belief that every student is capable of learning and achieving success. I believe in creating a supportive and nurturing learning environment where students feel empowered to take risks, ask questions, and learn from their mistakes. My tutoring style is student-centered and collaborative, focusing on building strong foundational skills, fostering critical thinking, and promoting a growth mindset.
