Certified Tutor

I am a master's student at Queen Mary University London, currently working towards a Master of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences in the History of Political Thought and Intellectual History. I received my Bachelor of Science (with first-class honours) in Politics & International Relations with Philosophy from Northeastern University London, and, once my master's is over will return there to begin my Politics & International Relations PhD in the Philosophy of History in the Anthropocene. Throughout my undergraduate and postgraduate careers as a student ambassador, I have been a firm proponent of the empowering impact of education both for individuals and disadvantaged communities focusing particularly in my role as a QMUL curriculum ambassador on how to make university-level teaching and prospects available and attractive for all regardless of background. Historically I have tutored a broad range of subjects though I am most passionate about Philosophy, History and Politics, and particularly enjoy helping students overcome their fears and issues with standardised tests and essay writing in these areas. It is my belief that all education should be seen, no matter how technical, as a key facet of an examined, well-lived and meaningful life, and I try to impart this appreciation to all of my students. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, hiking, meditation, running, gaming and consuming as many mugs of tea as humanly possible.
