As a first-generation graduate from Prairie View A&M University, I am proud to hold a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies EC-6. This milestone represents not only my personal dedication to education but also the culmination of a journey that has laid the foundation for my career in teaching.

Currently, I am thriving in the dynamic role of a Reading teacher for 6th, 7th, and 8th grades at one of the top charter schools in the Greater Houston area. Every day, I am inspired by the opportunity to instill a love for learning in my students and help them develop crucial reading skills that will serve as a cornerstone for their future academic success.

Recognizing the importance of continuous growth and improvement in the field of education, I have embarked on a journey towards higher education. I am currently enrolled in a graduate program at LSUS, focusing on Curriculum and Instruction. This endeavor reflects my commitment to enhancing my skills and knowledge to better serve my students and contribute meaningfully to the education community.

My experiences as a first-generation graduate and a dedicated educator have fueled my passion for creating an inclusive and engaging learning environment.
