I am a multi-instrumentalist with a passion for bluegrass and old time music. I have been studying music since the age of 9, and fell in love with traditional music when I was 13. I love to perform and have had the opportunity to share the stage with many of my hero's. My interest in teaching started when I was very young, and some of my first students were my younger siblings who wanted to play violin like me.

I have been teaching English since early 2020 and have had the pleasure of teaching a diverse array of students from all over the world. My students come to me with their goals and my job is to asses their current level and needs, and create a plan to get them to their goal in a reasonable time frame.

My students describe me as kind, patient, and flexible in my teaching methods. My goal as a teacher is to make sure each individual is getting what they need out of my lessons and achieving their goals.

Hobbies

Many of my hobbies are tied to my teaching, including music, traveling, and learning languages. I love performing and playing music with all types of people from all corners of the world. I have a passion for learning about different types of folk and traditional music and incorporating their styles into my playing. This has allowed me to travel all over the world, and learn new languages, namely Spanish. I've also dabbled in Japanese and Hebrew. I also love all things outdoors, including hiking, camping, and backpacking. This aligns with my love of travel and feeds the introvert part of me. Being out in nature is a very peaceful place for me, while also allowing me to challenge myself physically and mentally and push the limits of my capabilities.
