I am pursuing Master of Engineering with focus on Data Science from the University of Waterloo. After completing my bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, I worked as Senior Engineer at India's top MNC firm for 3 years. Apart from the assigned role at the organization, I participated as a CSR volunteer in tutoring Mathematics and Science to grade 1 - 11 students of rural India. Because of my customized teaching methodology, I was able to help 25+ students pass their grade 10 state board exams with flying colours. Based on the rich tutoring experience, I was offered role of Teaching Assistant at the University of Waterloo for the subject "Organizational Behaviour" for two consecutive terms. During 8 months in this role, I was responsible for assisting professor in conducting lectures, grading assignments and helping student in solving subject matter doubts. While I tutor a broad range of subjects, I am most passionate about Mathematics, Statistics and Science given my immense expertise and experience in these fields. In my spare time, I love to pursue my hobbies which includes reading books, playing sports and yoga.
My teaching philosophy:
I believe in community approach while teaching and I think I am a piece in my student's journey, guiding them towards a bright future. I gear my teaching towards helping my clients pass their examinations and providing them with information that might prove valuable in the future. As a tutor, it's my duty to provide a support system to my students whenever and wherever possible.
