As a dedicated teacher of over 7 years, I've had the unique opportunity of helping students across the globe attain high degrees of success regardless of their backgrounds and skill levels. After receiving my Bachelor of Science in Education from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, I obtained a TESOL certification and set out to teach internationally. My journey led me to the Czech Republic where I taught ESL in addition to English literature and Social Studies; then on to China where I gained experience teaching GSCE and A level History amongst other subjects in the humanities. Following these adventures, I was able to pursue a master's degree in Ancient History, Archaeology and Art of the Mediterranean from the University of Pavia in Italy. All of these invaluable experiences both in and out of the classroom have not only broadened my understanding of diverse cultures but have also given me the opportunity to learn multiple curriculums and pedagogical practices in which have been a tremendous advantage in helping my students reach their academic goals.
