I am a patient and passionate educator that believes any student can reach their full potential with the right guidance and practice. After graduating high school as an Ontario Academic Scholar, I pursued my bachelor's degree in sociology at Queen's University. Over my four years at Queen's, I took a strong interest in theories of deviance and crime, the criminal justice system, and socio-legal studies. Currently, I am aspiring to attend law school within the next year and eventually become a practicing lawyer. Beyond my educational background, I am passionate about tutoring in sociology, writing, communication, English, Math, and guitar. I enjoy writing and assisting students in crafting strong essays. I have a dynamic teaching style that aims to make learning individualized, engaging, and understandable. I believe that with tailored guidance, any student can reach their educational goals. A fun fact about me is that I played competitive hockey up until my final year in high school. It is still one of my favourite hobbies and I currently play in a recreational league with a group of friends.
