Hey, I'm LaVonna! I'm a poet, educator, and literary creative with over five years of academic customer service, including student mentoring, student tutoring, writing center consulting, and classroom instruction. I specialize in all things writing, including professional, technical, educational, and research writing. I have background in tutoring writing across subjects, including literature, business, and science writing. I review essays, resumes, cover letters, emails, and personal statements. I have advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word and over four years of experience as a university mentor, tutor, and instructor.

I lead and offer academic success services from the mindset that the classroom can be a site of community, creativity, equity, and opportunity.
