I believe that with the right help and guidance, any student is capable of achieving their academic expectations! I graduated from the University of Texas at El Paso with a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematical Sciences and a concentration in Statistics. I plan to move cities and continue my education by obtaining a Master's degree in Data Science. I enjoy teaching K-6th math, middle school math, and high school math, but my favorite subject to teach is Algebra 1 because I know so many ways to teach one topic! In my previous experience with students, I have learned that every individual learns differently, and finding a technique that works best for you, will give you the results you want. With the right teacher, every student can master a subject that they never had before. Having a firm understanding of foundational mathematics is important for future academics and a quality life - I try to teach this appreciation to my students!
