I am a current undergraduate senior at the University of Maryland pursuing a Bachelor's of Science in Geology. I have field and classroom experience in geology and related Earth sciences. I'd like to make more people come to love geology in the same way I do because it is not a heavily pursued science. I believe it is much easier to understand a topic if you can enjoy it, so my teaching strategy is to use whatever interest is there. I have experience tutoring an introductory college level geology course and AP Environmental Science. Outside of my academic life, I enjoy cooking and boxing.

My main interest within my field is global earth dynamics. This includes studying earthquakes, wave behavior, core-mantle interactions, and mantle convection. I work at my university as a tutor to first-generation students taking historically difficult courses. In my personal life, I enjoy cooking and baking. My main exercise is soccer, boxing, and some weightlifting.
