I am a graduate of the Johns Hopkins University with a bachelor of science in Computer Science. After completion of my studies, I embarked on a professional career spanning almost thirty years, mostly as a freelancer. I have therefore seen and been involved in a wide variety of projects in numerous industries.

I feel that I've been quite fortunate with regards to the opportunities life has offered me. It would be a pleasure to give something back to the community. For this reason, I am happy to share my knowledge and tutor individuals in computer science and related topics, even though I have no professional training as a teacher. To be able to further a student's development as a person, professional or both is richly rewarding.

I am particularly interested in helping students using the Java and Javascript programming languages with a focus on the language itself or - for the more advanced - principles and technologies related to the server-side (the backend). In that regard, I have extensive knowledge of Spring (Java) and Node (Javascript).
