Certified Tutor

I am a first-year student at Texas A&M University, working towards a major in biology and a minor in computer science on a pre-medicine track. My career aspirations drive me to love learning science and math, and I have taken a wealth of such courses in high school and college, ending with top grades in all of them. I have been tutoring friends around me in various science and math subjects for years, and I wish to make a lasting impact by tutoring those outside of my circle. I value being able to effectively communicate with others and hope to facilitate interactions on a student-student level, being a college student myself. Learning does not come from gaining answers but by finding them yourself, which is why I have students actively participate in solving all sorts of problems. Every student has their own unique way of learning different concepts, and a good teacher must help them discover what it is. One of the greatest feelings hits you when your tutee feels confident about a topic in which they used to feel lost.

Outside of my academics, I am a member of the student-run emergency care team on campus. I also love getting involved in various cultural activities and events.
