I am a recent graduate of Brown University where I studied Middle East Studies and was on the pre-medical track. I began learning Arabic at Brown during my freshman year, fell in love with the language, and went on to live in Amman, Jordan for seven months studying Arabic and working for a news outlet. I consider myself professionally proficient in Levantine and Standard Arabic. I love teaching beginning students in Arabic and have plenty of tips and tricks on learning the language efficiently as a non-native speaker! I also spent three years volunteering as an EMT on a collegiate ambulance and teaching CPR classes. I am also passionate about Writing and History and have assisted students in writing college admissions essays, cover letters, and resumes. I firmly believe in the power of education and aim to make it as accessible as possible for my students. In my free time, I enjoy baking, traveling (been to over 30 countries!), reading, and learning languages.
