Certified Tutor

Hello there! I'm Devvrat, a junior at The University of British Columbia, where I'm pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy and Economics.

Outside of my classes, I'm passionate about giving back to my community. Over the past year, I've been tutoring high school students at a local inner-city school in Mathematics, Social Sciences, and English (grades 8-12).

Through this experience, I've learned to adapt to the diverse learning needs of high school students and developed effective teaching strategies. My university journey has honed my critical thinking and problem-solving skills, thanks to my Philosophy studies and coursework in Mathematics up to my second year. I've also enhanced my reading, writing, and grammatical skills through studying complex philosophical texts.

Growing up in both Canada and India, I've experienced the competitive academic environment of the Indian education system, giving me valuable insights that help me tutor students in my local community.

I tutor A Level Mathematics, English Language & Literature, and Economics.
