I have a strong belief that education is the bridge that can lead to limitless dreams realized. In particular, I believe mastery of reading is truly key. I believe all children should have access to the art of reading proficiently. My desire is to close the gaps in our education system that for students who are struggling readers. I want to be a change agent for the world of literature. I am a graduate of University of Memphis, Freedhardeman, and Arkansas State University. I have a B.A. in Sociology, MAT in Education, and recently gained an EDs. in educational leadership. My passion is all thing English Language Arts and Social Studies. I have been an ELA teacher for 7 years teaching grades 6-8. I have also tutored students grades 3-5 and high school students studying for ACT exams. In my spare time, I enjoy writing, traveling, cooking, and enjoying live music.
