Certified Tutor

I have been a Special Education Teacher at a public high school for close to 24 years. During this time, I have had the opportunity to work with students from a variety of abilities and differences.

I have an undergraduate degree in Special Education, a graduate degree in education that focuses in coaching, and am currently working on a second master's degree in the area of Sports Psychology.

My areas of strength are in Algebra I and executive functioning to aid students in planning and preparing their schedule to perform at their best.

I am passionate about helping students tap into their potential. This potential may be readily apparent or hidden and it is out work to bring this out of our students.

In my spare time, I read, write, run, and have had the opportunity to give a TED talk on mindfulness.
