I'm an AP English Literature teacher currently working at a contemplative Buddhist school, where my students combine daily meditation with a love for literature. I bring patience, rigor, and a focus on clarity to every session.
Before I went up to the mountains, I studied a great deal. I have an MA in Buddhist Classics from Dharma Realm Buddhist University and a BA in English from Pomona College, CA, as well as five Associate's Degrees in various humanities subjects. I enjoy teaching, and see it as a learning experience.

Meditation, writing, cooking, hiking, backpacking, teaching. I also love to go to meditation retreats and stay at monasteries, where sometimes I teach English. Until recently, I've taught a notorious bunch of middle-schoolers at Instilling Goodness and Developing Virtue School in Ukiah, CA.
