I was born and Rwanda, but moved to the US 14 years ago for College. As an undergraduate, I majored in advanced chemistry studies. Upon graduating, I worked as a food scientist for two years, after which, I decided to start my PhD degree pursuit. In 2020, I successfully defended my PhD dissertation in chemistry, with multiple high profile publications. Currently, I work as a protein scientist, however, I am venturing into teaching, solely because I enjoy sharing my knowledge and helping students succeed.
