Certified Tutor

I enjoy tutoring because of the thrill I get when my student grasps the concept and succeeds academically. The majority of my experience in teaching involves on-the-job training of adults in my prior job. Over ten years, I trained approximately 200 trainees to perform the tasks and procedures necessary for the position of a courtroom clerk. I also have a fourth grader whom I help with their homework.
I graduated from Florida International University (Class of '22) with a Bachelor of Business Administration (Finance). I tutor in English, English grammar and syntax, and Math. I most enjoy tutoring math because I enjoy working with numbers and feel I have a knack for making concepts accessible to students.
Outside of tutoring, I enjoy writing urban fiction (I'm working on a novel), reading science fiction and how-to books because I like learning, playing backgammon and running a local backgammon club, and exercising and weight training.
