Certified Tutor

I am a graduate of Johns Hopkins University. I received my Master of Science in Education, focusing on secondary ELA, special education, and English as a second language (ESL). Since graduating, I've worked as an 8th-grade ELA teacher in Dallas, Texas. While I tutor a broad range of subjects, I am most passionate about English Language Arts, Reading, Writing, and Test Prep. I am a firm advocate for inclusive and accessible education. Students are more than just guests; they are valued classroom community members and stakeholders in the learning environment. Each student has their learning strengths, and it's my job to work with them to discover those strengths and support students in developing their learning goals. When students have a say in their education, they take ownership of their learning.
