Certified Tutor

I am a college student at Sam Houston State University. I am currently working towards getting my bachelor of Education with a minor in EC-6 to become a 3rd grade teacher. I love the outdoors and look forward to learning about you guys and helping you succeed in your academic world.
I want to show my students that they can have fun while learning and that there are many different ways to learn one subject.
When I was in high school I was working with students in the classroom and outside of the classroom in person and over video calls. I helped them better their understanding of what they were learning. I tutor elementary math and elementary reading and writing. My favorite subject to tutor is reading/ writing because there are so many different ways to read and understand what you are reading. I always like to remember that good tutoring helps students gain confidence in a course or for a test, I want to make it so that they feel that when they walk into the classroom they have full control over their success. In my spare time, I enjoy going to the gym, coloring, cooking, listening to music, and watching TikTok, so I can stay up to date with all of the new trends going on to better relate with the students that I work with.
