I am a third-year undergraduate student at UMass Amherst with a major in Early Childhood Education. I am most passionate about teaching reading, writing, and math to elementary students. As a student who dealt with online learning through COVID myself, I understand the importance of interactive learning instead of lecture-based learning, especially in younger students. My most valuable experience was being able to observe and aid in a kindergarten classroom last semester. To fill my spare time, I have decided that I will be joining the Education Club at my university to be able to work with other educators and further my knowledge in my field.
