I recently graduated from Purdue University with a degree in physics and astronomy and am currently working towards getting into a graduate program for materials science. Throughout the latter half of high school and all through college, I made sure to take out some time to tutor a variety of students ranging from as young as 9 years old to as old as 18 years old. I've mainly taught math and physics, but I have a bit of experience with teaching reading and writing skills as well. I believe the most important job someone can do is to teach others and help them grow, and it brings me a lot of joy to see my students become more familiar and confident in their skills. I believe all it takes for a lot of students is one extra little push to bring them to excellence, and the feeling of accomplishment that results from that never gets old. In my spare time, I'm always cooking, listening to interesting video essays on a variety of topics, playing video games that make me really use my brain, or swing dancing.
