Certified Tutor

I like helping people learn because learning is key to our personal development.
Even for an older person like myself, learning is a lifelong proposition. The more we learn the more successful we can be in our careers and in our personal lives.
I tutor mainly business courses. I like teaching business because if someone understands how to manage a business they should always be able to have a job.

I received my Bachelor's in Business Administration from the State University of New York at Buffalo. I also achieved a concentration in marketing and a certificate in real estate.

My teaching style is to be thorough and patient. Repetition is the key to all learning.
Listening is crucial to being an effective tutor. Listening allows me to understand the comprehension of a student and adjust my teaching to help the student learn better.

When not tutoring I still run my local advertising business. Twice a year I also run my fireworks stand.
Some of my favorite off-work activities are travel and sports. I also enjoy reading, exercising, and hanging out with friends. I have traveled to a few countries in North America and several countries in Europe. Travel itself is a learning experience. It is fascinating to see how people in other countries live and to experience their culture.
