I have taught college-level English courses across the entire range of general education courses that most American college students take since 1989. Favorites? If I have to choose, that means American literature of all time periods, Native American and African American concentrations especially, and introductory literature. Equally of interest to me, however, is working with students who are struggling with their writing or reading skills in Advanced Placement English in high school as they prepare for the AP English Exam or who are taking college and high school English courses at the same time. It's a quick-moving and powerful transition, and I have always enjoyed making that journey. And of course, I'm ready to tutor any content areas in composition, literature, or humanities and English college courses for students needing assistance in those areas, whether you're developing your skills, first-generation, an ESL learner, top of the class or working to catch up. It's an honor to help you navigate your writing and reading process, and I will enjoy getting to know you and the stories you're here to tell along the way.
