I am a graduate of the University of Connecticut. I received my Ph.D. in Chemistry with a focus upon Analytical Organic and Inorganic Chemical Analyses with an emphasis upon Chemical Instrumentation. My experiences were deeply involved with research and development as well as commercial laboratory analysis. My primary applications involved environmental and beverage-food analytical methods for over forty years. I have been an Adjunct Professor for various colleges teaching Chemistry and Chemical applications covering various fields.

The biochemical mechanisms of epigenetics or how specific proteins turn certain genes on or off for specific reasons during different stages of an organism’s life. Environmental chemistry & chemical toxicity & their mechanisms of action. I’m also an illustrator and fine artist where I love to oil paint, work with pastels, render pencil & ink sketches & drawings of human & animal portraits as well as beautiful & novel scenery. I love to golf, play tennis & volleyball. I love swimming or cross country skiing as a top choice daily exercise and I scuba dive.
